Programs
The Youth committee
coordinates and grants scholarship opportunities to youths
in our community in the form of the Youth of the Month,
Youth of the Year, and the ACE Award. The Youth of the
Month award winners are students from local high schools
who write an essay on topics concerning youth today.
Monthly winners receive a $250 scholarship and the
opportunity to advance to Youth of the Year. The Youth of
the Year award winner receives a $500 scholarship and
represents our community at the State level with winners
eligible to compete at the national level for titles and
additional scholarship money. The ACE Award is presented to
that one youth who exemplifies our image of achievement in
spite of hardships and obstacles and receives a $500
scholarship.
