S.O.S (Saving our Sanity) Support Group

Parenting a child with special needs is a role beyond anything anticipated. Parents not only contend with the challenges of parenting children with special needs, they also contend with financial struggles, securing economical and quality child care, isolation, and insufficient time to nurture themselves or their spousal relationships. These challenges and/or struggles create extraordinary pressures, which eventually take a toll on the parents’ health and sense of well-being.

The mission of the SOS (Saving Our Sanity) Support Group is to promote personal and family well-being by serving Moms within the community who have children with special needs. The goal is to help moms recognize themselves and learn simple ways to nurture themselves.

The parent support group meets the third Monday of every month. If you are interested please contact us.
