Programs

Community Service plans and supervises projects that impact many, many lives in our community. Participants in one senior citizen project visit local nursing homes to deliver cakes and donations to their recreation funds.  In another senior project, tickets are purchased to the local Meals on Wheels Celebrity Chef Brunch where all the proceeds go to meals on weekends and holidays.  Our unique Adopt-a-Family Program matches needy community families with club members to provide holiday gifts.  On Exchange's National Day of Service, a volunteer project is planned to make a difference in the community.  A donation is made to PADS for blankets, mittens, and hats in the winter.  This committee carries out a summer food drive for Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry.  The Ervin Kendzora Book of Golden Deeds award is given out by this committee to local individuals and groups who exemplify the spirit of selflessness and community volunteerism.
