Project H.E.L.P. is a community based organization established by the Exchange Club of Naperville. The mission is to strenghthen and support the quality of life for parents and their children. The mission is accomplished through the provision of services that help parents improve parenting skills, increase understanding of child development, and learn to manage their household in a positive and healthy matter. NCO Youth and Family Services was founded in 1971 by a group of concerned parents and community and religious leaders who saw the need for local professional services for youth and their families. Working cooperatively with many local organizations, NCO has played a leadership role in the development of programs that encourage positive social change. CASA of DuPage County, Inc.
CASA is an acronym for Court Appointed Special Advocates, and we believe that each child has a right to a safe, permanent, nurturing home. We accomplish this goal by training and supporting quality community advocates who voluntarily represent children in court. By bringing committed volunteer child advocates from the community into the child welfare system, CASA fills a vital service gap. Families Helping Families
FHF was founded in 1994 with the sole focus of helping homeless Moms and their children in DuPage County. During this time, each Mom works and goes to school since education is the best way to increase one's value in the job market.

Public Action to Deliver Shelter, Inc. MISSION: DuPage PADS is committed to end and prevent homelessness in DuPage County. VISION: PADS is committed to providing housing and supportive services for people who are homeless in a setting that encourages responsibility and offers the opportunity for independence and self-sufficiency. We work to educate the community and advocate against barriers that cause homelessness. KidsMatter, the Naperville Youth Development Coalition, is a not-for-profit initiative commissioned to educate and encourage character building throughout our community. Little Friends, Inc.
Little Friends is a private, non-profit organization serving children and adults with developmental, emotional or behavioral disabilities, including autism. Founded in 1965, the agency operates 14 programs including early intervention, alternative schools, family support, vocational training, community-based residential services, and a wide range of services for children with autism. Naperville CARES
Naperville CARES (Community Acting in Response to Economic Stress) is a grassroots organization whose mission is to provide resources to people within the Naperville community who require assistance to prevent homelessness and attain self-sufficiency. Our goal is to deliver basic human service needs, including emergency financial assistance for housing, utilities, and medical care, and professional case management counseling to low-income people in our midst in collaboration with local congregations and public and private social service agencies.

Naperville I-SEARCH
The Exchange Club of Naperville has supported the production of the Crime Prevention Calendar for many years through generous donations. This year, 2004-2005, with be the 18th edition of the Crime Prevention Calendar.The calendar project is done in cooperation with all the elementary schools in District 203, 204 and the four parochial schools in the community. The Exchange Club also supports our third grade program, "On Your Own", (basically a "Home Alone" program) by providing an education booklet for each student to take home to share with their parents. The Crime Prevention Calendar is a tool for students and their families that teaches crime prevention tips that help keep Naperville a safe place to live. The 3rd grade booklets serve to teach children how to be safe for those times when they must be home alone. The Exchange Club had partnered with the Naperville Police Department for the past 13 years to bring these two programs to the community.
The Naperville Humane Society
The Naperville Humane Society was founded in 1979 implement animal welfare programs and services in the community and to protect animals and prevent animal suffering. Over the last 25 years (2004 is our 25th Anniversary!), the Naperville Humane Society has greatly expanded the mission to promote the human/animal connection. The Naperville Humane Society is unique in the wide variey of programs and services we provide to our service area. Besides animal sheltering and adoption, NHS offers the area's only multi-tiered humane education program which includes shelter tours, integrated classroom curriculum, a junior volunteer program, a summer day camp for children as well as an after school program. In 2003, NHS was able to reach over 1,600 students in the area and added programming for special populations including youth-at-risk autism, and behavior disordered children. NHS also provides over 40 pet therapy visits per week to local hospitals and convalescent homes and in 2004 has worked to expand these visits to include children who are suffering from cancer. NHS also provides foster programs for women who are victims of domestic abuse as well as a foster program for hospital personnel in the event of a crisis situation. Finally, in 2003, the Naperville Humane Society added a 24 hour behavior helpline to our behavior modification program. Senior Home Sharing, Inc.
Senior Home Sharing, Inc. is celebrating its 23rd year of providing affordable, shared group housing to seniors. Residents with an average age of 82, and an average income of under $13,000 year, live together in one of four group homes. Six to seven seniors form an extended family with the help of a live-in manager, and the active support of volunteers, family members, neighbors and a committed board of directors. Homes are located in Lombard, Downers Grove, Naperville and Elmhurst. In addition, Senior Home Sharing operates a four-unit senior apartment building in Lombard. Community members are invited to take a tour of a home, volunteer or learn more about our unique housing option. The first step is to make a call to 630-629-5599.
Our Children's Homestead
Our Children's Homestead is dedicated to assuring safe and secure homes to abused, neglected and troubled children. Our Children's Homestead's mission is based on the importance of One Child One Dream. We believe that each child that is brought into our organization has the opportunity to succeed in life despite the pain, suffering, medically complex issues, abuse and neglect they have endured. Many programs have been developed by Our Children's Homestead that are tailored to the specific needs of our children. Some of these programs include treatment foster care, international adoptions, respite services, afterschool program, domestic violence counseling and much more.
